I completed my Bachelors of Science in Nursing in 2004 from Seattle University College of Nursing and began my career as a nurse on the Medical Unit at Seattle Children’s Hospital. I quickly became interested in the challenge of Emergency Room nursing and transfered to become part of that team at Seattle Children’s.

In 2013 I gave birth to my first of 3 beautiful daughters (now ages 12, 10, 8) and switched my focus to Primary Care nursing, working in outpatient settings that focused on staying healthy and developing relationships with individuals.

Following the 2020 COVID Pandemic I’ve been looking for ways to use my extensive background in nursing. I was drawn to Rainier Medical Education program run by Dr. Julia Overstreet, Podiatrist. I received both didactic (lecture & textbook) education and over 30 hours of hands-on training under the Podiatrist to complete the requirements of Certified Foot Care Specialist. I started Foot Care by Clare to build a client base I can provide specialized foot care to, with expertise, compassion and regularity.
